The Catfish and Allied Fish Farmers Association of Nigeria (CAFFAN) is the foremost umbrella body representing catfish producers and allied aquaculture stakeholders across Nigeria. We are committed to promoting sustainable fish farming, improving the livelihoods of our members, and contributing significantly to Nigeria’s food security and economic development.
As the collective voice of fish farmers, CAFFAN advocates for policies that support aquaculture growth, encourages the adoption of modern farming techniques, facilitates access to markets, and provides a platform for collaboration among farmers, investors, researchers, government agencies, and development partners.
The association will industrialize Catfish/ allied Fish production in Oyo State and engage in advocato create awareness of the nutritional benefit of Catfish.
